#26 Candy Stripers

The accountants are telling us we need to sex up our act if we're going to "move units." They still don't get it. But in the spirit of cooperation, here's the new, jazzed up, ready to sell out version of We're Late For Class. Spit-shined and open for suggestion. Actually, all we did was concoct a snappy new cover. Just like Warrant would have done... new cover, same old shit. Another 20 minutes of random noise that was made up on the spot. "Candy Stripers & The 10:50 That Followed" seems kind of self-explanatory, but then, we were there. It's subtitled The Voice Box Sessions. While "Heroine Sheik (MySpace Remix)" is a rim job we've remodeled from our first release, primed for the so-called (now irrelevant) new millennial crowd. Maybe we're the ones that don't get it.

Hi Folks. Another great one, indeed. But it's only the 26th time you do this... only four times and a half our stuff... think you should post some more things to convince us ;-)
BTW, no words for your words at TF: cool and friends, nothing better to find around.
Keep on and reach soon #50, while we could be having out 10, hopefully with no sound crisis, just like you.

hey guys,
I really enjoy your stuff and thank you for posting it for free. I have a problem though. When I download "Candy Stripers" and 'Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun' As Played By Vanilla Fudge Imitating Iron Butterfly When Fudge Were Forced To Open For Butterfly At The Fillmore West After In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida Went Top Ten, the files fail to extract from the zip. I'd really like to hear these pieces! So can you possible repackage them and repost? Or maybe it's just me having the problem? I don't know. All I do know is that those are the only two releases that I've not be able to enjoy.

Hi Richard,

Thanks for the kind words. It seems like when this has happened in the past it has always been a software issue. Not using the right kind, we mean. We tested both links and extracted them without problem. On "Set The Controls..." you can click on the divShare player and download the track from them (no extracting). Since it's only one track it's practically the same thing. You can also get the tracks individually on any of the posts through divShare. Let us know how that works for you. Thanks again.

Hey CE,
It's not about quantity it's about quality. Micro is really good. We've been diggin' it all weekend. Thanks for the note.

You're recommendation worked! Thanks for the tip and the tunes!

Just in case you agree that 1) The Beatles are the fathers of the chance for us all to know, play and enjoy contemporary music just the way it is today and has been for the last forty years and 2)that they were in fact - due to their boundless contractual power and creative freedom - the first Indie band in the world, then you may have some fun to pay a visit here.
Anyhow, a link back to you is still there. Enjoy.

We can't really argue with that, though we might have gone with Sun Ra instead. But, what do we know. Thanks for the link. We've done the same.
