#55 The Last Countdown 45

We had an elaborate story prepared for "The Last Countdown," recalling our days as an opening act, and one night in particular with Screamin' Jay Hawkins. The police were called, but since we were minors at the time our collective records have since been expunged. There are details, but no one reads this anyway, so why bother? We revisited our demo making past with "Tomorrow In March (Jim Carroll Dropped By)." What days those were - before we decided to go strictly live and unrehearsed - when guys like Jim Carroll would drop by and regale us with his perspective. Digitally, anyway. The hallucinational chasers helped a bit, too.

So sorry, Latists, Sirs ... but this No. 55 is, er, in my humble opinion, not very good ... Metal Machine Wannaman were so much, I beg your pardon, again, BETTER! Hoping for the better side of 56: The Chairman

Not good? We never suspected people came here to hear GOOD stuff. We stand corrected.

I completely disagree. This stuff is amazing. Keep it up.

That's one. Even if he does refuse to identify himself for fear of public ridicule. We understand. We do the same thing.

Hola W.L.F.C. greeting from the UK.
I wanted to ask a favour, I made a video using film clips and images, mostly taken from the net, It's not brilliant, just a bit of fun, but i would like to post it on YouTube anyway. I was wondering how you nice people would feel about me using one of your tunes as the music for the vid. The Video is a sort of montage of short clips. The subject matter is time lapse traffic, galaxys and planets, animation, stop motion etc.
I will understand if you'd rather i didn't and i won't be offended.
The track i wanted to use was The Last Countdown. Let me know your thoughts.
Yours with thanks
Omlette.

BY ALL MEANS! We'd love it. We'll even post a link to it. A couple of folks have been nice enough to post videos with our music. It's all free so we're all for it. Now... if you happen to accidently stumble into a money making machine with this video, we'll expect to hear from your accountants. Now might be a good time to mention our rider, which includes a lid of Pananma Red, tons of grape Snapple and tube socks (just because everyone else has that in their riders - and we can always use more socks). Other than that, we're looking forward to seeing it. Thanks a million.

Thanks W.L.F.C. I pretty much doubt any of my videos will make any money (although, it,s more likely now that I have a top tune to go with it)My videos are more likely gonna get me done for copy issues. But, if it does catch the right attention, and the money comes rolling in, then, my friends, we will be rich!!!, Panama Red and snapple will be in abundance. I will buy you all a pair of tube socks, is lime, pink pinstripe ok? (It's the best colour)
The video is now on YouTube, I called it, simply, We're Late For Class - The Last Countdown. My username is OmletteDaggle. Here is the way in (I hope) - http://www.youtube.com/user/OmletteDaggle?feature=mhee
Thanks once again, hope it's to your liking, hugs and affectionate slaps, Omlette.

FANTASTIC! Thanks Omlette! Loved it, and it's FAR more interesting that watching a joint burn down. The railroad and driving scenes were a riot. Thanks for putting in the time and trouble... AND for the guarantee of shared profits (the pre-law guys said they can make it stick in court). For the record, though, if you get sued for copyrights, we don't know you. Never heard of you. Omlette who? We can't imagine where he got our music. At which point, WE'LL threaten to sue, too (just to make it all look good). Let's just hope it doesn't come to that. We don't want the lawyers with all the Snapple (and stuffing their pants with our socks). Maybe we'll just plead The Fifth.

Thanks again.

Greetings Oh wise consumers of Snapple and tube socks. I found the final instalment. It was hiding deep in the dark dangerous depths of the underwear draw on a cd marked 'Do not eat' Here is a path; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TH0DLC5UCAE
