Reconstructed through highly advanced technologies as a vast space-faring artificial organism, VGER was augmented with a three-dimensional data collection and storing apparatus magnitudes beyond anything previously known to Federation science. Likewise providing it with effectively immeasurable defensive and sensory capabilities, the inhabitants of the machine planet gave VGER the ability to fulfill its programming in a far more complete fashion than the scientists who originally built and launched the vessel at its core ever imagined. Recorded live and made up on the spot. As if you couldn't tell.

LOSSLESS
O beautiful for spacious guys,
ReplyDeleteFor amber waves of haze,
For magic mushroom majesties,
Above the buttered plain!
WLFC! WLFC!
Lemmy shed his grace on thee,
And crown thy hood with toasted good,
From sea to blunted sea!
Yeah, this joint has it all...even some grooving in a cave with a pict...
It sounds like YOUR joint has it all. Thanks Mick.
ReplyDeleteI paid Capt. Willard no mind and did, in fact, get out of the boat. I had a feeling the whole Kurtz adventure would lead to nothing but horror. Now I'm trapped here exploring a different river. One that seemingly has no end. Every time I try to get out I'm pulled back in. I click just "one last time" and swear "I'm never clicking again" however I can't shake it. It's like something has wrapped itself around my brain. Is it Kurtz or is it something worse? I should have taken a taxi.
ReplyDeleteSeriously though, I love this stuff.
Everything is going to be fine. You're very high right now. You will probably be that way for about five more hours. Try taking some vitamin B complex, vitamin C complex. if you have a beer, go ahead and drink it. Just remember you're a living organism on this planet, and you're very safe. You've just taken a heavy drug. Relax, stay inside and listen to some music, Okay? Do you have any Allman Brothers?
ReplyDelete... or maybe, "Bob Can Hear Us" (#29). Thanks for listening.
It's nice to be back in the land of the living. Enjoying catching up with your stuff.
ReplyDeleteAll the best scav.

Hey Member,
ReplyDeleteVery cool. Many thanks for letting us know and pass on our thanks to radiosunrise. Guess we need to start cranking out some more tunes with German titles to expand our fan base over there. All the best… and thanks for the collaboration, which - for anyone else interested - is #13 on the hit parade (Rainy Day Schattenwoelfe - http://werelateforclass.blogspot.com/2007/10/13-rainy-day-schattenwoelfe.html). We and Stolle & Member also (sorta) collaborated on #3 (Galerienmusik - http://werelateforclass.blogspot.com/2007/07/galerienmusik.html), too. Thanks Member.
Hadn't been by in a while, so I decided to stop by and see what was what. Imagine my surprise at this obvious attempts to subvert and subdue my dharma. You used to be such nice boys.
ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping by, Mr. Fool.
