Not to bore you with any details, but we got side-tracked by a project we started at the beginning of the year that kind of got out of hand. It turned into something we didn't expect and took more time than we imagined. It's now posted (elsewhere), but we're not telling what, or where, it is. Except to say that it's us, as another band, and is most likely a one-shot deal. Who cares? But, that's why we've been laying low as of late. UPDATE: People care less about our new stuff than this "rumored" project.
The Beatles Complete On Ukulele blog has accepted an arrangement we concocted for their online Beatles cover project. They're in the midst of recording and releasing 185 Beatles covers, with 185 guest artists - one a week until July, 2012. Our admittedly atypical participation in Lennon & McCartney's "I Wanna Be Your Man" debuted July 6th, 2010. We'll warn you up front... it's not what you might expect.
We've had a lot of friendly blogs post our stuff before, and we thank them. The Zappadalata blog decided to post all of our stuff last month. Pages and pages of WLFC, somewhere besides here, and we didn't even notice any hate mail. Thanks Carlin.
The Sun Ra Project is using one of our tracks. "Stanley's Sun Ra Conga Line Experience," the lead off track to #46 A Hundred On The Hyena. The Project is a bunch of like-minded noisemakers noisily making noise. Thanks for including us. UPDATE: Blog all gone.
